In December 2025, eight industry standards covering dye intermediates, acid dyes, vat dyes and other categories were approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and will be officially implemented on March 1, 2026. The released standards include five newly formulated ones, involving a variety of dye intermediates and acid dye products. The implementation of these standards will effectively regulate the market order of dye and intermediate products, reduce trade frictions caused by inconsistent standards, and conform to the transformation and upgrading direction of the dye industry towards high-end, green and intelligent development, providing support for the safety and stability of the industrial chain and supply chain.
